Marketing Committee

TAAEF Marketing Committee –
(a) Contributes expertise to assist Executive Director in establishing organizational marketing, branding, and communication plans and initiatives,
(b) Builds on current brand and develop creative market outreach programs that will drive new partners and friends,
(c) Advises staff on strategies and development for various marketing communications channels and web presences including, electronic/social media, newsletter, public relations, website and printed collateral,
(d) Maintains and build relationships with key industry partners and members of the press in conjunction with Executive Director’s efforts,
(e) Identifies key speaking engagements for Executive Director and community to help market and brand the organization

Fundraising & Events Committee

TAAEF Fundraising & Events Committee –
(a) Works with staff to establish a fundraising plan that incorporates a series of appropriate vehicles, such as special events, direct mail, product sales, etc.,
(b) Works with fundraising staff in their efforts to raise money,
(c) Takes the lead in certain types of outreach efforts, such as chairing a event committee or hosting fundraising parties, etc.,
(d) Responsible for the involvement of all board members in fundraising, such as having board members make telephone calls to ask for support,
(e) Monitors fundraising efforts to be sure that ethical practices are in place, that donors are acknowledged appropriately, and that fundraising efforts are cost-effective,
(f) Reviews all previous year fundraising activity and make recommendations for improvements for the new fiscal year
